The curious twinning of a 1980s adidas Campus and a Superstar Vintage silhouette that dates back to a decade prior continues here. This duo still kills it like this month’s nylon variations and prove that the legacy of these shoes is unbreakable. You can chuck whatever you want at the Superstar Vintage and it’ll weather it…suede, leather — it even managed to sustain that slew of reptile fabrics a few years back, but the Campus is an easier one to eff-up. Leather’s cool, but it always reminds us of the high street Campus IIs from the turn of the decade, turning a shoe we long lusted after into a symbol of oi-oi beeriness — not that we’re snobbish or anything — and it’s always at its most marvelous in matt form.
